Walt Whitman Shops is excited to welcome emerging talent on Long Island with the Rising Stars Tour. On Saturday May 19 2018 1:00PM-5:00PM visit Walt Whitman Shops to see incredible young talent live in concert before they become superstars. The four up and coming performers, who are all Long Island natives, each have a distinct sound that is sure to attract a crowd. Guests do not want to miss the opportunity to see these performers on their rise to fame.
Participating performers include:
Sammi Rae Murciano, a 17-year-old pop singer and songwriter from Long Island, has only been singing for four years but has already received praise from audiences nationwide. Murciano’s meteoric rise shows no signs of slowing down, meaning it is only a matter of time until she is a household name. By seeking inspiration from a variety of artists, she has created her own unique sound that is sure to captivate audiences worldwide.
21-year-old Julian Morgan is a singer, songwriter, producer, and musician from New York. His music style is reminiscent of the peak of 1990’s R&B with a twist of urban pop. After attending Suffolk Community College, Morgan worked with renowned vocal coach, Jan Smith, whose former clients include Justin Bieber and Drake. Morgan’s performance on the Rising Stars Tour comes just in time for the summer release of his debut EP.
Annamaria is a 17-year-old singer songwriter from Long Island who creates pop music with R&B and soul influences, making it truly original. Annamaria’s song, Affection, was produced by Emmy Award-winning producer Eren Cannata who has been quoted as saying, “She’s the most prolific young artist we have worked with in years,” according to the Huffington Post. Be sure to see Annamaria live in concert before she releases her full record and begins a headlining tour.
Alison Berke, also known as Ali B, is the final young talent performing on the Rising Stars Tour. Her incredible covers and originals have helped her perform on major stages nationwide, despite only being 17-years-old.
