On Sunday August 14, 2016 Veterinarians International invite you to learn about the Asian elephant crisis though a comprehensive film detailing the life of a captive working elephant that endures the harsh realities of begging on the streets of Bangkok. But not to worry, this story has a happy ending. Following the film, an expert panel discussion will take place with the film's producer/director and World Elephant Day Founder, Patricia Sims, Asian elephant expert Richard Lair and Dr. Scarlett Magda, founding president of Veterinarians International.
