Our celebration of Northeastern Native American culture has been held the weekend before Thanksgiving for over 35 years. Demonstrations and hands-on activities will be on-going, including pottery-making, authentic native food displays with sampling, medicinal plant displays, Native American tools and artifacts, corn-grinding, natural face painting, using an atlatl, plus primitive firebuilding and on-site cooking, plus films on Native American culture/legends. Held rain or shine, activities are both indoors and outside. There are a variety of native foods to sample, however, we recommend you bring a bag lunch and spend the day.
