This annual festival at North Hempstead Beach Park is all about kids and music. Featuring a variety of musical groups and entertainers as well as kids' activities and games, this festival is sure to get kids dancing and singing.
North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth and the Town Board have announced the lineup for this year's children's music festival, KidStock. The festival will be held on Saturday, September 16 2018 12:00PM-5:00PM. at Clark Botanic Garden. The 7th Annual KidStock is a FREE outdoor family music festival which stars nationally-acclaimed musical entertainment including Grammy-award winning artists.
“Music is transformative and can turn an ordinary summer day into a fun-filled celebration for the entire family,” said Supervisor Bosworth “and that is exactly what Kidstock delivers among the beautiful backdrop of our Clark Botanic Garden. I hope everyone will come out to enjoy a music-filled day at the garden with, crafts, games and more.”
The lineup consists of KidStock favorite Alex and the Kaleidoscope band, Dirty Sock Funtime Band and Joanie Leeds and the Nightlights. Bach to Rock Port Washington will have hands-on and interactive opportunities for children to explore musical instruments.
