A Holocaust Remembrance Day lecture by Dr. Deborah Dwork on "Seeking a Way out of the Nazi Net: Experiences of Women and Girls." The Holocaust Memorial and Tolerance Center of Nassau County (HMTC) presents a Holocaust Remembrance Day lecture, "Seeking a Way out of the Nazi Net: Experiences of Women and Girls," by Dr. Debprah Dwork, an internationally renowned social historian of the Holocaust. Dr. Dwork is the Rose Professor of Holocaust History and Founding Director of the Strassler Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies at Clark University. Her presentation will explore the difficulties faced by women and girls during the Holocaust and how gender influenced one's experience. |
