The Long Island Bike Challenge is an annual charity bike ride across Long Island with the goal being to raise funds to prevent and cure cancer. Monies raised are donated to The Feinstein Institute for Medical Research the research branch of the Northwell Health System. Feinstein is composed of more than 1,500 clinicians, scientists and staff conducting groundbreaking, disease-oriented research, it houses the largest genotyping facility in the state of New York. Long Island Bike Challenge (LIBC)
The Long Island Bike Challenge (LIBC) is a long distance charity bike ride held the first Sunday in August dedicated to raising funds for state of the art medical research to defeat all forms of cancer. The ride is open to all cyclists willing to take-on the challenge of biking between 40 and 100 miles and raising money from supporters. |
