Westfield Sunrise Mall :The Sandlot 2017 Outdoor Summertime Cinema Series at Westfield Sunrise Mall in Massapequa, Nassau County, Long Island, New York.
Westfield South Shore continues celebrating family-friendly fun this summer with its Summertime Cinema event on Saturday, August 12, 2017, showing of the classic 1993 family comedy hit, The Sandlot. Beginning at 7:30PM before the start of the movie, families can enjoy many fun activities, including lawn games, trivia games, and face-painting, on the lawn next to Dick's Sporting Goods. Westfield South Shore is located at 1701 Sunrise Highway, Bay Shore. The film will start at sundown. Among the free, fun activities include glow in the dark face painting, temporary tattoos and hair beading.
Tickets for the event are just $5.00 each, and 100 percent of the proceeds will benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Tickets are limited, and seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Families are advised to bring their own blankets and chairs and to come early to reserve a spot. Each ticket holder will also receive free popcorn and complimentary Semores Pies, courtesy of Blaze Pizza.
Also, Five Guys will be serving up hot dogs (with 10% of sales benefitting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital); moviegoers can also have their orders delivered directly to their picnic blanket by ordering directly through the Five Guys website or app on a mobile phone. Patrons showing their event ticket at Auntie Anne's can receive one free pretzel item with the purchase of any pretzel item. Tickets will not be sold at the event and can only be pre-purchased online by visiting www.westfield.com/southshore and clicking on the "events" link. Tickets are non-refundable. Event Rain Date is Sunday, August 13, 2017 at 7:30PM.
As a special bonus, ticket holders showing same-day receipts totaling $75.00 or more from any Westfield South Shore retailer or food establishment will receive a free picnic blanket.
