Long Island Child
Development Centers located in Nassau County, Suffolk
County and the Hamptons, New York are organizations that
provide educationally based childcare services meeting
the increased demand for high quality early childhood
education. Each child grows and develops in a sequential
manner at his/her own pace and children are challenged
to reach higher levels of competence. A child's
intelligence is demonstrated in many ways and that each
child has a uniquely different learning style and
temperament. Child Development Centers are to enrich
children's lives through quality, accredited child
development programs and a commitment to developmentally
appropriate practice. Their programs put children at the
center of an interconnected circle of families, teacher
and the community.
