Through our partnerships with local civic
groups we inform and engage citizens around
the issues of health, education and economic
development at events like our U.S.
Presidential Issues Forum. We enable African
American women to achieve their dreams of a
college education through our Biennial
Scholarship awards.
We also recognize unsung local leaders with
our "Shero Award" and honor the path
breaking achievements of renowned African
Americans with our highest award the
"Trailblazer Award" at our Biennial Black
and White Candlelight Ball. Special thanks
to our Corporate Sponsors and Civic Partners
whose investment of time and dollars enables
us to continue our mission and expand the
reach of our programs.
