Long Island Rabbit Rescue Group (LIRRG) on Long Island, New York is an all-volunteer rabbit rescue group devoted to the wellbeing, care, adoption of domestic rabbits by rescuing abused, neglected or abandoned rabbits; providing medical care spaying/neutering and placing them in loving, indoor homes. We provide proper care for domestic rabbits, education of rabbit owners, and the increased awareness about these wonderful, loving creatures. Adopting a friend: Long Island Rabbit Rescue Group (LIRRG)'s goal is to help every bunny have a safe, loving, indoor home. Our adoption procedures include an interview process, home visits, and education of potential adopters. There is an adoption fee to help us defray the cost of veterinary care and spay/neuter of all of the bunnies we adopt out.
