Enjoy fresh pots of iced tea and freshly baked scones prepared by the Hidden Oak Cafe. Meet Long Island authors face-to-face and experience their passion for storytelling. Win a day tour with an author and experience their adventures on location.
The SUMMERTIME with Long Island Authors & Artists event is upcoming on August 23, 2014 at the Bayard Cutting Arboretum. While admission is free and donations of non-perishable food items are encouraged, we also hope to raise funds to further benefit EAC Network's Nutrition Education program, which provides nutrition assessments & ongoing nutrition counseling and operates the only food pantry in Nassau County that supplies weekly grocery bags for persons living with HIV/AIDS.
Donations of any size are deeply appreciated and integral to the success of the program. Thank you in advance for supporting EAC Network. Bring non-perishable food to the Arboretum or contribute financially here: http://shar.es/PfHhM. |
