Join the Hofstra Jazz Quartet for a musical tribute to American artist and composer Romare Bearden, whose work is on view in the exhibition Romare Bearden: Storyteller.
A few selections will be taken from the album Romare Bearden Revealed, recorded by saxophonist Branford Marsalis in celebration of the obvious as well as less tangible connections between the jazz Bearden loved and the artwork it inspired. |
