An International Evening with Eranga and Prianga Musical Presentation at the Connetquot Public Library in Bohemia, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York.
This singing duo entertains with a program of international songs at the library. From an African love song, a Hebrew legend and a rhythmic Calypso tune to an Italian ballad, a Hawaiian island song and haunting gypsy melody, you will be transported and learn why, according to Longfellow that "music is the universal language of mankind." In an explosion of sight and sound, an explosion of style and class it's Eranga and Prianga. She's pretty, he's handsome and they've charmed people of all ages and lifestyles all over the world. Even their names rhyme and together they generate blockbuster entertainment.
A singing duo from New York: Their vocal arrangements are complex, the harmony sublime and the voices blend in rich, vibrant tones. Raw natural talent discovered in their home in Sri Lanka has been nurtured and developed with innumerable performances throughout Europe, Asia and the Americas the United Nations in NYC, BBC TV in London, ZDF in Germany and even movies and commercials in the USA.
They entertain with a program of international songs which could hardly be surpassed – an African love song changes swiftly to Hebrew legend, Calypso is familiar as American rhythm and blues, the Italian ballad as inspiring as the Hawaiian island song and the Spanish gypsy segues into the music of Never on Sunday and Zorba the Greek! If you haven’t got up to dance, now is the time… and for a moment you will be transported to a place of excitement and pure joy. If you think entertainment is a good time that gives you a ‘rush’ that makes what comes after bearable - then you must think Eranga and Prianga. |
