City of Long Beach 2016 Summer Concert Series
The City of Long Beach has announced their 2016 Summer Concert Series dates which begin July 3rd and run through September 1st. The popular series is free for residents and visitors and showcases a variety of musical entertainment. This year's schedule includes everything from classic rock to big band and will include iconic favorites such as Alive n' Kickin and Andy Cooney, Tribute Bands including Cold Spring Harbor and BonJourney and local bands like T'Bazco Road and FOG The series will also feature many new acts.
This year we will present concerts three nights a week. The concerts are presented at rotating beaches: National Boulevard Beach on Mondays, New York Avenue Beach on Wednesdays and Neptune Boulevard Beach on Thursdays. Larger concerts or special events concerts may take place on Long Beach Boulevard or National Boulevard. All are welcome to bring a beach chair or blanket, and to also bring or order dinner to the beach while enjoying the shows. All shows begin at 8:00PM unless otherwise noted. |
