Huntington Choral Society Winter 2015 Holiday Choral Concert at the Huntington High School in Huntington, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York.
The Huntington Choral Society cordially invites you to their winter concert Spirit of The Season. We have a wonderful program of sacred and holiday music by Dvorak, Pinkham, Praetorius and others. Choral concert with brass quartet. Huntington Choral Society presents a selection of Winter and Holiday-themed music, including:
- Arvo Part's Magnificat
- Daniel Pinkham's Christmas Cantata
- Antonin Dvorak's Te Deum
- Tomas Luis de Victoria's O magnum mysterium
- Michael Praetorius' In dulci jubilo
- Orlando Gibbons' Hosanna to the Son of David
- Hans Leo Hassler's Dixit Maria ad Angelum
This promises to be a memorable evening of beautiful choral music with accompaniment by a brass quartet. Please join us on Saturday, December 12th in the Huntington High School auditorium. Oakwood and McKay Roads, Huntington. Admission is $20.00 per person. Students are always free. The curtain rises at 8:00PM.
This concert is made possible in part with funds from the New York State Council on the Arts. In Nassau and Suffolk Counties the Long Island Decentralization Grants for the Arts Program is administered by the Huntington Arts Council, Inc.
