The Brew Hop Festival Fundraiser 2016 New York City at Randall's Island Park in New York City, NY.
Welcome to The Brew Hop. A brand new event coming to NYC on September 18, 2016 that combines a 5K race with a craft beer and food festival. Its aim is to build a bridge between two seemingly unrelated, yet perfectly compatible pastimes. The day starts off with the 5K race that you can run or walk and then finishes into a festival featuring the best local breweries in NYC. All attendees will receive unlimited beer from NYC's best breweries, finisher's medal, tasting glass, beer koozie, and access to the festival.
Attending breweries include Brooklyn Brewery, Sixpoint Brewery, SingleCut Beersmiths, Third Rail Beer, Bronx Brewery, Gun Hill Brewing Company, Rockaway Brewing, KelSo Beer Company, Alphabet City Brewing, Blue Point Brewing Company, Great South Bay Brewery, Captain Lawrence Brewing Company and more to be announced soon. The festival will also feature local food trucks, live music, lawn games, photo booth, art installations, lounge areas and more. We are proud to say we will be purchasing all of the beer from the breweries to support NYC's local craft beer industry and community.

The event will benefit NYC based charity City Harvest by donating 10 percent of the profits to the charity to help feed hungry New Yorkers. Attendees will also have the opportunity to donate additional money to the charity if they choose. We are proud to be able to donate 100 percent of this money directly to the charity. There will also be a food drive on-site for attendees who wish to bring nonperishable food items to donate. City Harvest works to feed the 1.4 million New Yorkers who face hunger every day. The organization will collect 55 million pounds of excess food from restaurants, groceries, bakeries, manufacturers, and farms and deliver it free of charge to over 500 community food programs across New York City this year. For more information, please visit http://www.cityharvest.org/.
