Momtrepreneur Fair Moms Family Business Networking Event at Blumenfeld Family Park in Port Washington, Long Island, New York.
Families are welcome to Mom Time Event's Backyard-Style Momtrepreneur Fair featuring over 40 area Business Owner Moms in Port Washington. Attendees may shop the showcased products and services ranging from handmade hair bows, tutus, apparel, artwork and jewelry to photography, organizational, nutritional and financial guidance. Families will enjoy free entertainment and activities throughout the event including family yoga, dance and martial arts demonstrations, kids' music sessions by Bach2Rock, henna tattoos, magic by Evan the Kid Magician, and more. A portion of the net proceeds will be donated to the Port Washington Education Foundation. Rain Location: Landmark Gym at the same address.
A momtreprenuer is a business owner who is actively balancing the role of mom and entrepreneur. Often times, she leaves an established career (and paycheck) to spend more time with her children while pursuing a new interest or offering a service related to her former profession.
There are so many local moms that are incredibly talented and passionate about what they do, yet often times, getting the word out about their business is a hurdle. The goal of the Momtreprenuer Fair is to promote visibility for these mom-owned businesses, connect families with a variety of affordable and useful services and have lots of fun doing it.
