Quogue Wildlife Refuge 2017 Eggstravaganza Easter Egg Hunt at Quogue Wildlife Refuge in Quogue, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York.
Inspect the Refuge egg and nest collection for ideas to create your own fun nest craft. You may want to bring a smock or an old shirt with you. Participants will decorate their own "nests" and color and decorate hard-boiled eggs to take home. A program for children ages 5-12. Reservations required, as space and supplies are limited. Dress appropriately, as the program may take place outside.

Quogue Wildlife Refuge
The Quogue Wildlife Refuge is a 300 acre non-profit nature preserve that was founded in 1934 and is home to diverse wildlife. Open 365 days a year from sunrise to sunset, you can enjoy walking seven miles of trails to explore diverse habitats including forests and ponds, as well as the ecologically rare Dwarf Pines in the Pine Barrens.
The Outdoor Wildlife Complex houses permanently injured wildlife that require human care to survive including a bald eagle, owls, falcons, foxes and other native New York animals.
The Charles Banks Belt Nature Center offers spectacular views of Old Ice Pond as well as a variety of wildlife exhibits, live animals, a nature library, and gift shop. |
