Description: |
Long Island Children's Museum Spring Eggstravaganza Easter Egg Hunt for Children at Long Island Children's Museum in Garden City, Nassau County, Long Island, New York.
Hop on over to LICM for a special night at the Museum.
Meet Peter Cottontail, explore traditional Ukranian egg decorating and celebrate the arrival of spring by starting your own carrot garden. Decorate your own sweet treat and collect eggs as you bounce from themed activity to activity. Enjoy egg relays and face painting.
Performers from National Circus Project will be in the LICM Theater showing off their "eggcellent" clowning, juggling, spinning and balancing skills.
Showtimes at 6:30PM, 7:30PM and 8:30PM. Additional fee: $4.00 with EGGstravaganza admission.
Though it's not exactly a "hunt," we thought we'd include this fundraiser for the LICM to help them recover much needed funds that were lost due to hurricane Sandy. Meet Peter Cottontail, learn about the Ukrainian Art of egg decorating, create bunny ears, participate in an egg race, and get your face painted. You can even celebrate spring's arrival by starting your own carrot garden.
Spring EGGstravaganza is a Museum fundraiser. Admission is $12.00 for all attendees. Membership cards, discount coupons or library passes may not be used at this Special Event.
