Come enjoy plant-based fare and Leonardo DiCaprio's new movie, "Before The Flood," with other vegans, vegetarians and veg curious folks at our Monthly Potluck in Westhampton Beach.
When attending Potluck meetings, make sure to abide by these key rules: No Meat, Dairy, Eggs, or honey. There are a lot of foods already vegan like fruit plates, crudit(C), peanut butter and jelly, egg-free pastas with tomato or oil and herb sauce, true dark chocolate (check for milk though), salads, chips, potatoes, etc. Check out onegreenplanet.org for great recipes, tips and info.
It would be greatly appreciated if you could supply your own plates, cups, and utensils for eating and serving. Trying to stay environmentally conscious. If you forget, I got you. We are all here to help each other thrive, so please include a list of ingredients (or recipe) used to make your dish. I also will be showing the brilliant documentary, "Before the Flood" on the projector in the Potluck room as well. Informational pamphlets, flyers, and recipes will also be provided. Looking forward to trying some new vegan dishes and enjoy a funday Sunday movie with like minded people. |
