Gold Coast Arts Center 50+ Comedy Tour 2017 at Gold Coast Arts Center in Great Neck, Nassau County, Long Island, New York.
The 50+ Comedy Tour, featuring "mature" comedians over 50 for audiences in the same age range, is returning for a command performance at the Gold Coast Arts Center, 113 Middle Neck Road, Great Neck, NY on the evening of Saturday, October 14, 2017. This year's show has an entirely new line-up of side-splitting seasoned comics, including:
- Les Bayer, a resident of East Meadow and recent winner of AARP Long Island's Search for the Next 50+ Comedy Star
- Peter Bales, a faculty member at Queensborough Community College of the City University of New York, and professor of stand-up comedy, who has performed on Comedy Central, A&E and Showtime
- Steve Lazarus, a Queens resident who has opened for such noted comedians as Ray Romano, Kevin James, and Lewis Black
- Paul Anthony, comedian, host, and executive producer and creator of the Long Island Comedy Festival
Audiences love this show because the humor is performed by, and aimed at, Baby Boomers, a group often overlooked, says Lauren Wagner, Director of Marketing and Development, Gold Coast Arts Center. We sell out every year and people leave the event literally exhausted from laughing, but with big smiles on their faces.
The show will take place at the Gold Coast Arts Center, 113 Middle Neck Road, Great Neck, NY on Saturday, October 14, 2017, at 8:30PM (doors will open at 8:00PM). Tickets for general admission seating cost $20.00 if purchased in advance or $30.00 at the door. To purchase tickets, please call 516-829-2570 or visit www.goldcoastarts.org. Refreshments will be available sale and there is plenty of free parking in the Maple Drive municipal parking lot with easy access to the Great Neck Arts Center's Maple Drive entrance.
