The children's Summer Field Ecology Program consists of nine one-week explorations of the Quogue Wildlife Refuge and surrounding areas. Based on your child's grade entry level for the coming fall, he/she may attend one session of the Ecology Program.
This summer marks the 50th Anniversary of the Summer Ecology Program at the Refuge. Through hands-on, intense exploration the children will learn a few of nature's secrets and the importance of the natural world. When your child completes the program they will have more knowledge and a greater respect for the earth and its inhabitants. We hope these lessons will be carried with them throughout their lives.
