11th Annual Golf Outing 2016 Fundraiser For North Fork Breast Health Coalition at The Vineyards Golf Club in Riverhead, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York.
The North Fork Breast Health Coalition will hold its 11th annual golf outing at The Vineyards Golf Club, a private links-style course that was formerly called Old Vine. Golfers check in at 3:00PM with tee time at 4:00PM.
Golf and dinner costs only $125.00 per person. The afternoon and evening includes nine holes of golf, a cart, range balls, beverage cart, cocktail hour and buffet dinner, plus the chance to participate in raffles and win prizes. If you are not a golfer, you can join the group for dinner afterward for $75.00.
Although it may be possible to sign up that day, registration in advance is recommended. To register or to obtain more information, contact Event Chair Susie Bandiera. You can also register on www.nycharities.org. Tee-sign sponsorships and various other opportunities to participate as a sponsor are still available. The cost ranges from $100.00 for a tee sign to $500.00 to sponsor the event.
Currently led by Susan Ruffini, the all-volunteer, non-profit organization supports local breast-cancer patients with programs such as the Helping Hand grants. Funds raised by the golf outing will also allow the group to continue to provide free services such as yoga, massage therapy, reflexology and support groups to breast-cancer patients and survivors.

Ann Cotton-DeGrasse and Antonio DeGrasse founded the North Fork Breast Health Coalition in 1998. Unfortunately, Mr. DeGrasse passed away on April 14, 2016 of this year.
North Fork Breast Health Coalition
North Fork Breast Health Coalition is a group of concerned citizens working in conjunction with other community resources. As a not-for-profit organization, we have no paid employees, but rather return all funds raised for services to those diagnosed with breast cancer on the North Fork. We are committed to finding an answer to the high incidence of breast cancer in our area. Our primary goal is to increase community awareness of the many issues involved in the battle against this disease which kills more than 180,000 women a year in this country.
The North Fork Breast Health Coalition is working to encourage and assist in the prevention, early intervention, and cure of breast cancer through advocacy, awareness, networking, and research. The funds we raise go directly to programs such as "Lend a Helping Hand",which provides grants to patients on the North Fork who are being treated for breast cancer. |
