29th Annual 4th of July American Picnic with Fireworks by Grucci To Benefit Southampton Fresh Air Home at Private Residence in Southampton, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York.
There is no summer tradition we anticipate with more excitement than the Southampton Fresh Air Home's Annual American Picnic with Fireworks by Grucci. Our 29th Annual Picnic Benefit is scheduled for Friday, July 1, 2016 (with a rain date of Sunday July 3, 2016) and it is the only Fourth of July fireworks family party in Southampton.
Once again at 1030 Meadow Lane, the festivities will include exciting games for kids of all ages. We will enjoy a delicious American picnic as well as food carts with popcorn, ice cream, hot dogs and other delights. And of course, there is nothing quite as special as our spectacular Grucci fireworks display over Shinnecock Bay.
The Southampton Fresh Air Home is a residential camp with a specialized recreation program adapted for physically challenged children, the majority of whom will receive scholarships to attend. The Picnic raises over 40 percent of the Home's annual program expenses. Your generosity will allow our special children to enjoy a unique and caring summer camping experience filled with laughter, love and friendship while at the same time, providing a much deserved rest for their families who care for them all year round.
