What is the Liver Life Walk?

Join more than 13,000 people from coast-to-coast as we pound the pavement to change the face of liver health! Your participation will bring awareness to liver disease and provide financial support for our educational programs and patient services offered to the millions of Americans battling one of the 100 known liver diseases.
American Liver Foundation
Your Liver. Your Life
The American Liver Foundation was created in 1976 by the American Association for the Study of Liver Disease (AASLD). Research is integral to the work of American Liver Foundation and is essential to improving treatment and finding cures. Many forms of liver disease are preventable and many more can be cured if detected early. Yet tens of thousands of people in the USA are living with liver disease and don't even know it.
The mission of the American Liver Foundation is to facilitate, advocate and promote education, support and research for the prevention, treatment and cure of liver disease. These values guide our work as volunteers and staff of the American Liver Foundation as we move toward our ultimate goal of a world without liver disease. By living these values every day, we offer hope to all those affected by liver disease. |
