Walk at 9:30AM
Post event announcements and awards at 10:45AM
Event ends at 12:00PM
Top team and top individual fundraisers will be acknowledged during the closing ceremony. Rain or shine the event will go on. Regardless of weather, layered clothing, wind breakers, sunglasses, and sunscreen are recommended.
All registrants must check in at the registration tent! New participants can also sign up at the registration tent. Donations should be brought to the registration tent on the day of the walk.
We encourage you to gather your team in our team town area. Please bring a tent, chairs and lots of team spirit (no staking, no BBQ, no alcohol). While refreshments will be made available for all, please feel free to bring a cooler, pack a lunch and enjoy the day.
$8.00 parking fee (cash only) will be taken by parking attendants at Field 5 entrance. Parking pay stations are located at the East and West bath house on Ocean Parkway eastbound.
Long Island Brain Tumor Walk
Long Island Brain Tumor Walk is an event to raise awareness and much-needed resources to fund critical brain tumor-specific programs to improve the lives of all those affected by brain tumors. Hosted by the National Brain Tumor Society, the Long Island Brain Tumor Walk offers individuals and teams a chance to honor and remember loved ones, connect with others interested in the brain tumor cause, and helps to educate the local community on the diverse needs of the brain tumor community.
