Tee Off For Teens 2015 Long Island Council on Alcoholism Drug Dependence Fundraiser at Maidstone Golf Club in East Hampton, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York.
Teens across Long Island are facing the fight of their lives as they are bombarded with media messages and social interactions promoting unhealthy choices. We all know someone who is desperately struggling to save their child from the epidemic of alcohol, marijuana, prescription drugs and heroin that is sweeping our community. LICADD's evidence-based education prevention programs are a lifeline, providing parents, teachers, children and young adults with effective solutions. By reaching out to our children in their early years with effective prevention programs, we can help end the cycle of addiction. We need your help to keep these programs accessible to families in need. You can help by participating in Tee-Off for Our Teens, you can be part of the solution. You can help us save a young teen's life and restore families.
About Long Island Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence (LICADD)
LICADD is Long Island's premier provider of substance abuse services and evidence-based prevention programs. We've served Long Island for more than five decades and remain focused on addressing our region's opiate crisis by addressing regional gaps in access to behavioral health care, pushing for comprehensive school-based prevention programs and fighting for responsible public health policies that make our communities safer and healthier.
Our mission is to address the addictive climate of our times by providing initial attention and referral services to individuals, families and children, through intervention, education and professional guidance to overcome the ravages of alcohol and other drug-related problems. |
