Long Islands home for Country, MY Country 96.1 will host their annual marathon with DJ Bill Powers on December 12, 2014 6:00AM-78:00PM the station hopes to raise donations through straight donations, on-air auction items as well as an on-line auction with all money raised going to the non-profit organization, Angela's House.
Listeners are encouraged to call in their donations at 631-676-7496 and bid on air for various items as well as going on line at LICountry.com to bid on various items including autographed guitars from Dierks Bentley, Brantley Gilbert, Darius Rucker and many more. In addition, there are great items donated from our local sports clubs including an autographed football from the New York Jets, an autographed and framed Victor Cruz poster from the New York Giants and much more.
In addition, celebrity guests and local dignitaries will be calling in and stopping by throughout the day.
