Walk To Break The Silence on Ovarian Cancer Charity Benefit Fundraiser Event at Belmont Lake State Park in West Babylon, Long Island, New York.
Break out the running shoes, this year we are excited to announce that we will be adding a 5K Run. Don't leave your dog at home, this year they will be welcome at our Walk/Run, we will be adding a Dog Walk, or as we call it, a Teal Wagger Walk.
We are always looking for able bodies to volunteer and help not only the day of the walk, but, all year to help create awareness, let me know if you are interested.
About National Ovarian Cancer Coalition Long Island Chapter
National Ovarian Cancer Coalition Long Island Chapter is to raise awareness of ovarian cancer and provide information on symptoms, diagnosis, treatment and support through national programs and local chapter initiatives. The Long Island Chapter of the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition is dedicated to community education and awareness. Ovarian Cancer is more than a woman's disease.
The mission of the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC) is to raise awareness and promote education about ovarian cancer, and to improve the survival rate and quality of life for women with ovarian cancer.
Since its inception in 1995, the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC) has been committed to raising awareness of ovarian cancer and providing support, education, and hope for women affected by ovarian cancer, and their families. Establishing itself as an important national advocate for ovarian cancer patients, the NOCC remains steadfast in its mission to raise awareness and promote education about ovarian cancer. The Coalition aims to improve the survival rate and quality of life for ovarian cancer patients and provide support and resources to family and friends of ovarian cancer survivors.
The National Ovarian Cancer Coalition is a nationally recognized organization with a growing nationwide network of Chapters. NOCC volunteers fuel the ovarian cancer awareness movement throughout the United States. These volunteers understand the specific needs of individual communities and promote and expand patient, public and professional education about ovarian cancer.
The National Ovarian Cancer Coalition volunteers network with patients, family members, and caregivers to provide support and encouragement. They also organize awareness events, provide educational programs, disseminate literature at health fairs, and address organizations through their speaker's bureaus.
The National Ovarian Cancer Coalition Long Island Chapter's mission is to raise awareness of ovarian cancer and provide information on symptoms, diagnosis, treatment and support through national programs and local chapter initiatives. The Coalition is committed to improving the survival rate and quality of life for women with ovarian cancer.
The Long Island Chapter of the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition's mission is to raise awareness and promote education about ovarian cancer. The Long Island Chapter serves Nassau and Suffolk counties of New York and is comprised of ovarian cancer survivors, their families and friends, and health care professionals. We invite anyone with an interest in raising awareness about ovarian cancer to join our efforts and attend one of our meetings or events.
