Festival 5K Walk Run to Benefit Sr. Jackie Walsh Memorial Fund Charity Fundraiser at St. Edward Confessor Church in Syosset, Long Island, New York.
The Festival 5K is in memory of Sr. Jackie Walsh, RSM, a spirited, loving member of the Syosset-Woodbury and Hicksville communities. Sr. Jackie was tragically killed by a hit and run driver in the summer of 2012. It is in memory of Sr. Jackie's compassionate, generous, and vibrant nature, that we invite you to honor her legacy of unconditional love and stewardship to the community by participating in the St. Edward's Inaugural Festival 5K to benefit the Sister Jackie Memorial Fund. Proceeds from the Festival 5K support the Sister Jackie Memorial Fund, which provides educational scholarships to Our Lady of Mercy Academy, Syosset for the parishioners of St. Edward the Confessor Parish and School.

Volunteers Needed
Teens and adults welcome. Many volunteer opportunities available for those who would like to run/walk the race as well. Please email at sjfestival5k@gmail.com for more information.
Registration at 7:00AM. Festival 5K Run Walk at 9:00AM. Rain or shine. Refreshments provided. Race timed by Island. Timing and course is USATF certified.
Pre-Registration

Awards
Prizes presented to the top overall male and female finishers.
Awards presented to the top 3 males and 3 females in each age group: 14 & under,15-19, 20-25, 26-30, 31-35, 36-40, 41-45,46-50, 51-55, 56-60, 61-65, 66-70, and 70 and over. |
