Each spring the HMTC hosts the Annual Tolerance Benefit and Auction. This special evening brings together leading philanthropists and community leaders to support the HMTC's many education programs. In partnership with the Nassau and Suffolk County Police Departments, the Claire Friedlander Family Foundation will award two exceptional youths with educational scholarships and they will be named 2014's Friedlander Upstanders.
This years benefit, held Monday, May 12, at Westbury Manor and will include "A Tasting Event", showcasing restaurants from the area.
