Paint For Harmony Nonprofit Community Cafe Fundraiser 2016 at Ristegios's Restaurant in Patchogue, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York.
We are raising funds to secure a location for the cafe. We will be a "Pay What You Can Afford" cafe on Long Island which is badly needed on Long Island and it will help fight local hunger and food insecurity.
We will offer suggested donations for our food. The food will be all healthy and "Farm to Table" will be our model. Event Picture was created just for this event. Raffles and 50/50. Food and drink offers will be given to our group. Please come down and join us for fun and painting for a wonderful cause.

Community Cafe Movement
The philosophy of Harmony Cafe Community Cafe Movement is that everyone, regardless of economic status, deserves the chance to eat healthy food while being treated with dignity, in the same place as everyone else. With no community cafes on Long Island, this cafe is badly needed. Harmony Cafe will be more than just a cafe. It will be a safe space for all members of the community to come together in unity a place to connect with others. Not only will it serve delicious homemade, locally sourced food, but it will help fight local hunger/food insecurity and unite people of all socio-economic divisions while simultaneously destroying those very divisions. |
