A balanced focus on seven points of impact to the nation which required George W. Bush administration responses and decisions. This original HUM exhibition provides a balanced focus on seven points of impact to the nation which required George W. Bush administration responses and decisions. Works of art, documents, photographs and objects cover selected thematic areas including the 2000 Election, September 11, 2001, The War on Terror: Afghanistan and Iraq, Hurricane Katrina, the 2008 Economic Crisis, Social Security Reform, and AIDS and Malaria Initiatives in Africa. This exhibition is presented in association with the Hofstra Cultural Center international conference, The George W. Bush Presidency (March 24 - 26, 2015).
