Drawing: Basics and Beyond for Adults Ages 18-99 Art Workshops Classes at Mills Pond House Gallery in St James, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York.
Beginner through Intermediate level class. The objective of this course is to introduce the student to basic drawing skills. This is a beginner through intermediate level class. This course is for anyone who would like to learn how to draw and for those who would like to sharpen their skills. This course will emphasize various drawing techniques such as contour and continuous line, and value drawing. Participants will experiment with various materials such as ink, charcoal and pastels. We will also focus on sharpening observation skills. Supplies: Newsprint pad or large drawing pad, flair pen, soft vine charcoal, kneaded eraser.
