The juror's theme for this exhibition is Medium and how various mediums of photography are used to enhance an artist's statement or intention in their work. Works are often most successful when the subject matter is paired well with the correct choice of medium - the two have a symbiotic relationship. The work chosen for this exhibit will reveal the greatest combination of the artist's medium with their subject and will feature work in tintype, digital, film, platinum, gelatin silver, photogravure among others.
Jennifer Schlesinger Hanson is an artist, curator, and educator based out of Santa Fe, New Mexico.
