The Patchogue Arts Biennial (44 Artists in 12,000
square foot Exhibit Hall) on October 3-24, 2009 in
the 12,000 square foot Exhibit Hall of Briarcliffe
College, 225 West Main Street, Patchogue, NY.
Opening Artist Reception on Saturday, October 3,
2009 2:00PM-5:00PM; Exhibit October 4-24, 2009
Sundays 12:00PM-4:00PM; Monday-Saturday
12:00PM-7:00PM; AM viewings by appointment. It
will be the largest art exhibition of its kind ever
staged on Long Island. Forty-four [44] artists
representing a broad cross-section of artistic
creativity will each be given space to exhibit a
representative body of work. The artists come from
the entire island, Brooklyn to the East End and
range in age from 25 to 80. All forms and media
currently in use from the traditional charcoals and
painting to multimedia installations will be on
display. Artist's subjects range from landscape and
portraiture to the nonobjective or conceptual.
Viewers will surely see work that conforms to and
expands their definition of art. The exhibition's
opening event on Saturday, October 3, 2009 will
feature a one-day sculpture garden on the perimeter
of the campus of Briarcliffe College, and an artist
reception 2:00PM-5:900PM with presentation about
3pm. Briarcliffe College is located at 225 West Main
Street, Patchogue, NY. The event is sponsored by the
Patchogue Arts Council, Inc., Briarcliffe College,
St. Joseph's College and many others. Over $25,000
has been raised to put on this 3 week exhibit, now
we need to get the word out to the community about
the event and line up volunteers to make it happen.

Ongoing Event : Nutrition Class Group
Program Offered By Fitness Fusion 360
This program is an 8-week program. During
these 8 weeks, participants meet with a
Nutrition Manager Consultant three times -
one hour at the beginning of the program,
one hour during the program, and one hour at
the end of 12 weeks. Participants are asked
to keep a food log and an exercise log; they
learn how to analyze what they eat and
discover the number of calories they should
eat to achieve balance; they learn how to
budget their time and fit exercise into
their schedules; they learn ways to reduce
stress and why it is important to do so.
When participants have completed the 8
weeks, they will posses the tools needed to
be successful in long-term "fat" loss and
health. The program also includes three
individual consultations: The first
individual consultation is after the first
group meeting. This meeting concentrates on
individualizing the participants exercise
program; discussing the participant's goals
and objectives; and teaching the participant
how to use the diet analysis software. The
second individual consultation occurs after
the fourth group meeting. This consultation
focuses on how the participant is doing. The
third individual consultation occurs at week
12 (4 weeks after the group program). This
consultation concentrates on how the
participant is doing after the program
(repeat body composition measures, etc).

area's most experienced meteorologists. He graduated New
York University with a degree in meteorology, began his
career as a weather officer in the Air Force, and served two
years as a forecaster for Air Force One. Bill broke into
broadcasting with WCBS News Radio 88, then spent over 15
years as part of WOR's "Rambling with Gambling." His
transition to television came in 1993 when he joined the
team at the first, largest and most-watched regional news
network in the nation, News 12. Bill is an avid golfer, a
