The Mickey Rooney Story Musical Theatre Tribute Performances and High Tea Luncheon at WMHO Educational and Cultural Center in Stony Brook, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York.
Come join us when the TV pioneer and star, "Miss Betsy Palmer" appears as the enchanting hostess of our educational and entertaining Spring Spectacular. Mickey Rooney was the top box office attraction from 1939-41. Besides his celebrated movie career, Rooney successfully starred in vaudeville, radio, television and Broadway. For nearly nine decades, he was a dynamo of talent who displayed a natural gift for acting, singing, dancing, comedy, drama and more in over 300 films throughout his lifetime. Set in the year 1963, this all-new production will highlight delightfully nostalgic songs and rollicking comedy. Catered by Crazy Beans Restaurant. |
