Social Sports Lounge and Kitchen is newly designed and is Long Island's best sports bar and restaurant located in the heart of Nassau County. SOCIAL is situated minutes away from the Roosevelt Field Mall and Eisenhower Park and only seconds from the Nassau Coliseum, home of the NHLs New York Islanders. Social Sports Lounge and Kitchen is an elite Long Island restaurant mixed with a New York City flare to create a standout atmosphere which is second to none.
The Social Sports Lounge and Kitchen brand concept was created in late 2008, when former New York Jets great Wayne Chrebet teamed up with Rob Verderosa of Nightlife Metro Group. Wayne purchased the restaurant located across the street from his alma mater (Hofstra University) in hopes of bringing people together in the community that has supported him from the start. The name Social was chosen to reference the term used when a group of individuals join to raise their drinks in salute Wayne and Rob along with Outer Limits Art Studio decided to take famous players in professional sports history and paint graphic art portraits of them throughout the restaurant. Wayne and Rob along with their team of management created f ood and drink specials that encourage social (pun intended) eating and drinking. Ideas like Social Round of Beers, ) Social Round of Shots, and Social Round of Munchies were designed to bring partiers of two to two hundred together.
Social also boasts it's own private event venue. The Gallery Room is the lower level event space at Social Sports Lounge and Kitchen. This room is designed with an upscale New York City style lounge feel comparable to nothing else on Long Island. The Gallery Room has its own private entrance, which is great for intimate events such as birthday parties, graduation parties, fundraising events, corporate events and more. This space is perfect for Social Sports Lounge and Kitchen's culinary creativity to run wild. In case you don't know what you want for your event, catering packages have been created to ease your decision making process. These dining options can be customized and built to perfection to make your event a success.
