One of Nassau’s true gems, the park includes beautiful shoreline, the Atlantic Ocean beyond and lots of other recreational activities, including basketball courts, a playground, a skate park, volleyball courts, a dog run and a concession stand. One of Nassau County's true gems, the park includes a beautiful three-quarter-mile shoreline, the Atlantic Ocean beyond and lots of other recreational activities. Mangano Announces Nickerson Beach Open for the 2013 Summer Season
Lido Beach, NY – Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano today announced that Nickerson Beach Park will officially open for the 2013 Summer Season beginning this Friday, May 24th, marking the first time that Nickerson Beach will be open to the public since Superstorm Sandy. The cabana areas will be open on weekends only beginning Friday, May 24 - Friday, June 14, 2013 9:00AM-9:00PM. Beginning Saturday, June 15 - Sunday, September 8, 2013 the cabana areas will be open daily 9:00AM-8:00PM Monday-Thursday and 9:00AM-9:00PM Friday-Sunday. |
