The Suffolk Y Jewish Community Center is a social
service agency concerned with individual growth
through meaningful group experiences.
The Suffolk Y Jewish Community Center's comprehensive program of guided
leisure-time activities is both educational and
recreational and is directed toward strengthening
Jewish cultural identity and the Jewish family unit. The
Suffolk Y Jewish Community Center serves as a common
meeting place for the entire Jewish community. It
cooperates with all groups concerned with enriching
and enhancing Jewish communal life. The Suffolk Y
Jewish Community Center also works with civic leaders who wish to
advance the welfare of the community and further the
democratic way of life. The Suffolk Y Jewish
Community Center has an open membership policy.
The Suffolk Y Jewish Community Center admits members
and participants of any race, color, national and
ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges,
programs, and activities generally accorded or made
available to participants at The Suffolk Y Jewish
Community Center. It does not
