Mid-Summer Night Dances 2015 at Vanderbilt Museum in Centerport, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York.
Come dance with us. You can learn a new dance step each week from professional teachers. Music with a deejay. Light dinner included. The Vanderbilt's Mid-Summer Night Dances, held most Thursday evenings, have become one of the most popular events on the museum's calendar. The dances run through September 3, 2015.
Held in the Celebration Tent overlooking Northport Bay, the dances (with a deejay) often draw between 90 and 120 people. Singles, couples and groups of friends have given the events rave reviews.
Each week, professional instructors teach a different dance step, followed by dancing of all types (swing, ballroom, rumba, disco, among others) and light dinner fare from 51 Broadway Caterers.

Co-produced with C&D Productions, Inc. Gates open at 6:00PM. Dance lessons 6:30PM-7:00PM with dancing until 9:30PM. |
