Description: |
Discuss and define what it means to be green, perform green theatre and make green scenes! Through creating eco-friendly plays about the natural environment and sharing them with the camp community, campers understand that theatre can be a powerful tool for action and environmental change. Campers collaborate in groups to discuss, create, write and rehearse their plays and present their final performances together. This program is lead by Green Theatre Collective Educational Director Melanie Closs.
SummerCamp @Ross revolves around creative, artistic and interesting people. In an effort to nourish the mind, body and spirit, we introduce campers to world-renowned artists, thinkers, humanitarians and wellness experts. These special guests inspire our campers through hands-on workshops and interactions. |
